We are here to help parents raise happy and healthy children
Coach Jeremy Oliver established the Fundamentals Soccer School in 2019. With extensive experience as a soccer coach, fitness trainer, and personal trainer in the UAE, he has imparted his expertise at various schools, soccer schools, and academies in South Africa and the UAE.
Our mission is to offer enjoyable and educational sessions within a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere, fostering the development of children of all ages at their own pace. Inspired by his tenure with PASS Abu Dhabi, Coach Jeremy Oliver launched his own soccer school in the Bluff area of Durban, South Africa.

Age-specific support for every stage
Cubs
Our Cubs group is our youngest group starting from the age of 4, we teach kids the very basics of football and the general rules of the game.
Bears
Our Bears group is a bit more advanced where we emphasise what the child has learnt in the Cubs group and help them improve on it.
Tigers
Our Tigers group is where we start to teach more about correct technique and formation, this is where we really see the progress of the child.
Lions
Our Lions group is where we hope to improve on what the child has learnt in the Tigers group. By now the child should be much more aware in his/her understanding of the game.
Hawks
Our Hawks group is currently our oldest group where we hope the child has all the basics mastered and he/she can put it into action.
Eagles
We will soon introduce a Eagles group which will be more advanced than Hawks group. We hope that our boys are now ready to play senior football for their clubs.

Saturday
- 8:30 - 9:30 - CUBS TRAINING
- 9:30 - 10:30 - BEARS TRAINING
- 10:30 - 11:30 - TIGERS TRAINING
- 11:30 - 12:30 - LIONS TRAINING
- 12:30 - 13:30 - HAWKS TRAINING
- 13:30 - 14:30 - EAGLES TRAINING

Jeremy Oliver – Head Coach
Jeremy has SAFA, CAF and Scottish FA qualifications, he is also an advanced personal trainer and fitness coach with a certificate in nutrition.
Coach Jeremy has played competitive outdoor, indoor/futsal and beach soccer. He has played football for many teams in SA, UK and the UAE.

Jeremy Oliver had the pleasure of learning from Benni Mcarthy and his coaching staff for a week at Amazulu FC in 2021.
