The Fundamentals Soccer School was founded by Coach Jeremy Oliver in 2019. Coach Jeremy has worked in South Africa and UAE as a soccer coach, fitness coach, and personal trainer. He was inspired by his former employers, PASS Abu Dhabi, to start his own soccer school in the Bluff area, Durban, South Africa. Since 2019, the school has grown to over 100 kids. Coach Jeremy is a former soccer player who competed in outdoor, Futsal, and beach soccer in the UK, UAE, and South Africa.

“We feel the fundamentals of soccer are overlooked and lacking in South Africa. Many kids and coaches skip this stage and immediately force to compete against others without even knowing the basics. We feel South African soccer can be much further ahead if more time is given to the fundamentals of the game. Through fun and exciting sessions, we aim to produce two footed players with great technique, starting from as young as 4 years old.”
